  13. Open Dialog Shows Previews & Images!
  14. The Open or Choose File Object dialog has been enhanced to include preview and image display, based on the current selection in the navigation list. Double-clicking an image or preview will open the file in a new window.

  16. Print List Settings!
  17. You can now specify the appearance of printed pages, including margins and number of rows and columns. See Help file for details.

  19. Custom List Views!
  20. ImageViewer list views have been changed from a pre-defined, "hardwired" approach, to a flexible, custom definable approach. List views now exist in the files Standard Views and Custom Views in the folder ImageViewer™/Views.

  22. Note: These files must exist in this location for list views to be available!

The menu location of the available list views (in View menu), has been moved to the bottom of the menu, in order to accomodate a variable number of such views. Views are provided that mimic the previously available choices. If you have need of a new view or would like the details of how to create custom views, please send email to <kevinw@imageviewer.com>.

  26. List View Icon Buttons
  27. The 5 icon buttons at the top of the document window have been replaced. There are now 2 such buttons, one which toggles to the last list view(there could be any number of such) and another that toggles to single image list view(same behavior as before).

  29. Window Auto-Resizing Off
  30. Windows no longer "snap to grid" to match the size of list view elements.

  32. Keywords & Finder Comments
  33. While editing keywords or finder comments, if the custom list view has a field containing either, updating will occur when you click on another list element(i.e. make a new selection).

  35. Note: For keywords, updating will not occur properly unless the Prefs setting "Auto Save Changes To Keywords & Comments" is turned on. This is now the default setting.

  37. Keyword Find & Replace
  38. A new feature has been added (List menu) to find and replace keywords in the current list.

  40. Preferences Additions
  41. A new panel has been added: HTML General, which contains the following items:

  43.     •Main File Name: Allows you to specify the main file name used for generated html pages(current default is index.html).

  45.     •Make Table Of Contents: Check to include as part of output files.
  46.  
  47.     •Slide Show: Check to include tags to automatically display next file.
  48.  
  49.     •Refresh seconds: Allows you to set the pause between the display of the next image when slide show is enabled.

  51.     •Place text after </TITLE>: Check to include text in the <HEAD> section of html pages.

  53.     •Text field: Enter the text you would like to include(e.g. style sheets).

  55.     •Include Image Links: Check to include links within image files.

  60. A new menu has been added, which contains the QuickTime Effects, previously located in the Modify menu.
